Video
Carson is now taking baths in the regular bath tub. One night daddy decided to jump in with him (with swimming trunks on!)

Here is the video of Carson "army crawling". Then notice how his orneriness kicks in and when he has two toys right in front of him he chooses to grab the paper instead!!!

New Pictures
YEAH!!! New Carson pictures! I know that is what you all are thinking! Pretty soon it will be summer and you will be getting updates a lot more often! Carson is 7 1/2 months old now (will be 8 months on May 13) and is not quite crawling, but has the "army crawl" down pat! He definately gets where he needs to go and we have slowly had to "baby proof" the house. I am sure that as he gets more active we will have to do some more updating of the house. So here is what he has been up to lately.....
Like I said before, almost crawling. He does get around though. He loves to play under his bed! And then he will do his "Playgirl" pose (middle picture)
He is almost getting too big for sink baths now. He keeps putting his face in the bubbles! He loves the bath though and I can't wait til this summer when we can go swimming!

What's New....
Okay, I know it's been a while since I've updated the blog, so I will fill you in on as much as possible. It really has been kind of boring around here though! Well, first of all, we are still working on eating our fruits and vegetable baby foods. His newest flavors are peaches, bananas, carrots, and tonight green beans! He still hates his peas and loves his carrots!

We are now working really hard on crawling. He can get up on his knees and rock back and forth, but has yet to put the hand and leg motion together. Pictures of crawling to be posted soon! Also we have a tooth! It keeps poking up, then going back down. Very annoying. Carson is miserable which makes mom and dad miserable too. We are ready for that tooth to be here already! Hope you enjoyed all the updates!
We also had a few holidays in the last few months....St. Patrick's Day and Easter. He enjoyed both, but especially Easter. We went to Mass then made our usual rounds (the Fuiten's, the Verderber's and the Young's). We were all very tired and ready for our relaxing spring break the next week! Here Carson is in his St. Patrick's Day outfit and in his Easter outfit with his Easter basket.
Well the next thing that is new is our sippy cup. He knows what it is and that he has to drink out of it, but he is not quite sure how to do it. He is getting better.

Learning to stand
Carson is getting so strong now. He can stand with some help from mom or dad. Not too long and he will be off and running. I am looking forward to that day because then it will mean that the warm weather will be here. I am longing for all of this snow/sleet/rain to go away and to have long days of warm weather and sunshine!

Big boy chairs
Carson has his own little barstool to sit in. He loves to watch TV or play with his toys sitting in his chair.
But Howie likes to put him in the "big boy" chair. He looks so grown up sitting in the HUGE rocker.
Uh, Oh...we are already fighting for the remote control. "I want to watch SpongeBob Mommy!"

It's cereal time!
Carson has really taken a liking to his cereal, especially applesauce. Here is what he looks like when he wants more apples...
However, peas are not his favorite. Here is what he looks like when he is eating peas.....
Our next adventure....sweet potatoes. Maybe he will like that a little better than peas.
